Check the plugs on the unit under the bunk. They use a plastic loom to seperate them. A couple times my unit would act up and they didn't have enough slack....other than that, there is a phillips screw on the back cover of the display unit...you can take that off and see if that plug is loose otherwise pull the power, wait 15-20 min then repower it and let it boot. There is a keyboard way to reboot...but I forget how. I think Volvo mentioned it on the other thread a while back
If you hear voices (other than the digital lady that reads your messages but that can't pronounce her words right) and it has an evil laugh and says "GET OUT....GET OUT". I'd say...ummmmm get out and call a priest...it's possessedstungjoe Thanks this. -
Home for 3 days. Warm in Central Florida as usual.

I don't know anything about the keystroke shortcut to force reboot, only that the MCP200 units have a USB port on the left side and that you can plug a real keyboard into that and forget about that crappy built-in keyboard.
There is this, from Covenant Transport's facebook page, though I'm not sure it will work if the unit is not responding to the buttons, or if ours are even set up to do this.mathematrucker and stungjoe Thank this. -
Ours are set to do that.stungjoe Thanks this.

Thanks for the replies!
After much fiddlin' and fuse pullin' I decided it was the actual display unit. My dash mounted pad worked fine, my elogs were keeping up and the thing went in a predictable pattern; 15 seconds it would be totally dead, 15 seconds it would light up the display and then for 30 seconds it would allow me to input via the touch screen only; no keyboard and no on-unit directional key pads. I had a call in to Lee in Lincoln but never heard back. I talked Wilmer to replace the display unit and it's all fixed! Something was shorting out or whatever. Now I have a brand new unit.
EDIT: BTW, if you go into the SPEAKERS control you can get it to reboot. There's a circuit breaker and a 10amp fuse in the dash fuse panel. -
Home time!

Maybe it was Bumper. It had something to do with holding the home key and the center cursor dot...but I can't recall
