If he is getting an inverter for health reasons (for microwave, fridge etc) then that was the going price for the inverter, wires and battery box mounted breaker. The CPAP's they make the drivers buy were 12 volt.(or at least were when I was there) I know because I was assigned a truck that a sleep apnea driver had before quitting and it had an extra 12v plug wired direct to the one side battery box and mounted right over the edge of the drivers side sleeper cabinet...right where you'd crack your head if you rolled over too far.

The ridiculous card that ALL DEPARTMENTS like to play is "DRIVER ABUSE" when it is a weekend/holiday or any other time that is convenient to deflect responsibility from themselves and try to turn the table on the driver....claiming the driver (Not mentioning that the driver was pissed due to a 566 mile load over 2.5 days) was abusing them with profanity. One of Crete's Infamous Mottos "The Driver Will Always Be The Fall-Guy" !
