3 hours and counting at Freddie's in Chehalis WA... Aaaah the joys of I5 freight...

A factory inverter probably doesn't cost much. We have them over here at Poly, and Poly doesn't like to spend money on excessive luxury extras for their trucks. At least our newer Prostars have them...our 2010 Prostars don't have them. Not sure how much one on a Freightliner would run(or if they're even an option).

You guys have not been paying attention. Eventually, all Crete trucks will have cameras.
They're not just for 'bad boys' anymore. The first 50 were, the next few hundred have been installed in new trucks given to anyone. They do plan to put them in ALL of the trucks. -
I'm a shaffer driver...
I'd never do NYC, I don't care what they pay me I'm not doing it.
Going over the George Washington Bridge is the most I'll do around there.

I suspect crete will take the cheapest route on inverters, or will make use of them virtually impossible, if it involves idling the truck to have sufficient voltage to power it, or to keep the batteries charged..
They want us to live in these trucks, but live like animals. -
I've quit eating out on the road, with the very, very rare exception. I park to break and sleep, nothing more.
