    Unless you're driving a Volkswagen Beetle...I wouldn't try...:biggrin_25526:

and speaking of Hawaii...they have a divided highway, much like the mainland's interstate (yankees call it an expressway) but the highway designation is that of an interstate...could someone explain why? Besides the chicken & the egg conundrum...that has always made me wonder. :biggrin_2552:

Right, how can Interstate 27 and 45 be an Interstate. Or Interstate 19, which is in kilometers?
We won the war on the Metric system at least, except for having to have metric wrenches, but then trying 7 wrenches to fit a bolt is good exercise. Maybe that's why our shops are so slow.

what is even worse as a mechanic on trucks, is you need both sets of wrenches, as some of the bolts are metric, and others are standard american, all depends on where the part was assembled.

Who knows where this was taken?

and I am so sore from cutting down half dead trees, wish I had a tractor and loader. At least next time home or so, I'll have a decent brush fire.
It was almost impossible to pull anything with this, with the ground being frozen an inch or two down.

Call up the receiver yesterday and ask about early-bird parking availability, Ya sure we can probably get to you early he says. So early-bird shows up 2+ hrs early for live unload. Notice the place has only 3 docks with 2 dedicated local trls in the door and the 3rd door has a Swift backed in. I walk in present bol and guy says that Swift trk is about done and soon as he pulls out back er in. Heck ya....I wait 5 min and see Swifty lease op walking out with his BOL in hand....and then motions for me, Ya I am next....Swift walks over to me and says Could I barrow your key to see if it works in his F/L as he locked himself out.....SOB, nope my key didn't work and spent 2 hrs waiting for a locksmith to come out to unlock his trk so he could pull out before I could back in.

They did away with air ride years ago. Cost too much to maintain and were less reliable than spring ride....since they use may-pop tires, a blown recap doesn't take out a spring nearly as easy as an air bag
