I couldn't agree more. A late load and a live driver beats a dead driver and a wrecked load every time. I'll drive on snow if I have to, but ice is for skating rinks and keeping my Diet Pepsi cold.

Terrible news today, spending the night in Nashville, Mcfadden's has closed down. Rumor has it something will open soon, but, it's unamerican for an Irish place to go out of business.
and a bum cursed me, he wanted money for nothing, he hated my reply, "If it was that easy, I wouldn't ever work". I have to walk by him later. FHL. -
Is 'FHL' the same as 'FML' only its against him?
-
yep, his life, although I have to walk past him later, I love this town.
You here of those stories of someone keeling over dead on a sidewalk and nobody notices, it is possible, happened to me last year, (I was one of the many that didn't notice)
I quit posting on here until I get some work done, but if you are in Mississippi stop at the Harlow Casino in maybe Greenville, chaching.Wild Murphy Thanks this. -
Pulled down 11,765 miles in January...beat last Jan by more than 1,000. Looking good for miles so far this year!
Wild Murphy and Astoh Thank this. -
It's for insurance anyway.

If you believe that, I need to speak to you about this premo piece of ocean front property I have for sale, it's just outside Phoenix. Crete is privately insured, they have a catastrophic casualty policy...there is very little difference between damages from a 62 mph crash and a 65 mph crash. 3 mph doesn't make that much difference, if they wanted to change insurance costs they should go back to hiring experienced safe drivers. Training your own drivers only invites a higher probability of accidents...not that I am bashing new drivers but statistics show year 1 and year 7 of a drivers career are the most likely points at which they are involved in a preventable crash.

You know what, this thread really sucks. Anybody here proud of who they work for? I've been here since July and enjoy it. What mostly come out of this thread is whiners who if they dislike it so bad can leave because its a free county with lots of opportunity for drivers, or its ex employees who like to come back here and repeatedly bash it because they can't let go and find something more useful to do. Pretty sad. I personally would like to see more useful information or topics. Or some happiness. I've been getting 10000 miles a month. My CPM has gone up. I deliver a load, in 30 minutes or less I get a preplan and start driving again. Anyone besides me happy here?

We're truck drivers... This is what we do...
Also, it sounds like you just haven't had the opportunity to get screwed over yet. Wait for the first time you get a 200 dollar check when you worked all week.tucker Thanks this.
