I-40 was terrible. Some of those potholes are dangerous. Had some issues in Texas too. Glad I'm back in Ohio. Not really.

Sometimes I think it might be easier for them to just turn the pavement back into gravel...it sure would keep the speeds down, and be a lot easier to maintain...and smoother too.Wild Murphy Thanks this.

One of the day labor jobs I did in North Dakota was helping on a highway build. They were pouring concrete at least 2 feet deep and then it had those lines on top to help with traction and water displacement. I have seen this type of road in several other places especially where it snows or ices a lot. I think if made right there is a reduced chance for potholes. I hope I described this type of road correctly.

i leak coolant most the time, I just let her leak til I feel like fixing her.
The clamps have those stupid 4 washers on them and work loose.
My parts ain't came in yet, so I got approved for another night here.
At least they're not making me check out to sit at the dealer in case the parts come in later and they get her done at midnight.
Time for my walk way up to the chapel and gas station. I have to thank God again for making this a wet county last year.
He so works in mysterious ways. Amen
But then I was suppose to be home last Friday for a week off. 😿😹 -
Coolant leaks on a Prostar are as common as pimples on a teenager.
Wild Murphy Thanks this. -
Maybe even on a 29LX with a "MEAN GREEN" display!!! Or a 148 with a "GOOD WHITE" meter light! Take it to Two-One!!
But at that CB shop by the Petro, Ray is the guy's name who runs the place (this is important, to differentiate this excellent shop from a nearby "hack shop"), you can also get a 7-foot Skip Shooter antenna. Only place I know of that has this in stock. And of course, now that I'd like to swing by and get one, I haven't been by West Memphis in probably 5 months.Last edited: Mar 9, 2015
Onadetour, tucker and Wild Murphy Thank this. -
I add a gallon about every 10-15k. Don't see moisture on the ground, so I think it's my Maxxfarce's EGR...but it hasn't gotten worse since I got into this truck in July, so I live with it.xlsdraw Thanks this.

Another day off, they found more stuff wrong, a cracked exhaust manifold and 2 more things I never heard of. They think they'll have her done late today or in the morning.
And they have another broke down crete truck up there too.
I think Indy kicked me off breakdown pay, but it's better to stay here earning no breakdown pay, then paying $125 plus for the truck cleaning fine. plus the extra down time swapping. -
Where you at Tucker?
