Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

That what I'll do on this one. Been at the dock almost 5 hrs. I'll take every dollar they give me.

 

They pay me detention every time now, I never ask a customer, as they always refuse
Except the one new guy years ago, that signed it, he told his boss and they came after me trying to get the form back, but heck, I could scribble a name.

I been home a week now, not sure when I'll head back out, lots of work to do here. Not really, I'm just super lazy.
Now this spring, if you get time in southern Indiana, you can drop the trailer at my place and bobtail 5 miles to this, it looks awesome, plus they have 2 or 3 big wood coasters.

 

I know, right? Stereo is so much better.

 

My weekly streak of being an above average company driver came to an end this paycheck. Haha. My paycheck had a little over 2400 miles on it and I carried around 250 into this week. So cant get to 2700 that way either. I did a restart last Thurs. that I probably shouldn't have done but at the time didn't feel like bumping up against my 70 everyday. Sucks cuz its my middle week out. Live and learn.

 

I'm on my last week out, going home Monday orTuesday. 2800 miles plus some detention. I'm good with that. Hopefully get another 1000 by the time I head to the house

 

I was a few miles away from my Walmart d/h del this morning and siren/blue lights RIGHT behind me ..... Let Me slow down and move over so he can get around to catch the BAD GUY. Whoop Whoop .....Oh Sheet, he is after me ! I pull over and could not think of any thing illegal I had been doing. The state patrol climbs out of his Mustang and walks up to the my cab and says.... You have been randomly selected for a level 3 inspection, bring all your paperwork for the trk/trl and bol back to the squad car AFTER he thumbed thru the Qualcom elogs. I walk back and he says hop in ......I reach for the back door handle, and he says UP FRONT.....so be it, so I climb in with the paperwork and turns out.... after going over all items that I got a clean inspection which is in the mail to Lincoln for $$. The Trooper was retired military himself so we chatted about back in the day !

 

Sweet! Glad that turned out well. How long did it take? What do you think bonus will be?

I never even think of things like this happening. I would think I would pass I guess.

 

Kinda puts a lump in your throat for a second doesn't it...more stimulating then a 64 oz red bull.

 

In Indy is LA Quinta the hotel you get the Crete rate at?

 

Got delayed numerous times today trying to get out of Florida up I 4 and I 95. Was brutal all the way until I got on I 26. The Annual Early Spring Snowbird Exodus has begun. Usually ends just after Tax Day.
