I saw a Crete truck with a stop sign on the side of it. It was paint "there's no short cuts in life." (I guess waiting a stop sign is a short cut.)

 

On a load from Toano VA to Tampa. Get to the Fl. state line and get a message to stop, load is being diverted to Cartersville GA.
The bunk air in my International is blowing not hot but not cool air. Wake up and it's warmer inside the truck then outside. Just out of shop from B-service and hate to go back in. Any chance this is a quick fix?

Western Express is installing 24 inch tvs and satellite TV in most all its trucks, to try and retain drivers, why can't they just pay them more?

 

Try taking the Shortcut trailer 200 miles off route to take a 10 hour break at home.

 

There is always a chance...how likely is the real question. I mean, there is a chance you'll win the lottery, there is a chance you'll be struck by lightning, there is a chance the earth will start rotating in reverse...but how likely? (Sorry, hadn't been a smart-ace lately, had to see if I still could)

Saw one of Crete's Pete's today...took a double take, thought it was an O/O, but it was a company truck number on the hood.

 

Checked in with shop at Marietta. I'm told it'll be 2-3 days before they can look at it. Asked to be routed to a different shop and got a load to Roanoke TX. Good thing I'm not heading to some place hot.

 

Check the plug on the top of the unit under the bunk, sometimes it gets just a little loose and makes it work intermittently. Might work, might not, but with a try.

 

I got a random message today about taking more than a 10 hour break again, but this load is 800 plus miles and requires a longer break, unless I want to arrive 8 hours early and stare at a locked gate.
I just don't understand why Congress makes people employ women, let alone pay them what a white man is worth.
