BTW my last week: Monday worked 4 hours with one aborted delivery. Tuesday one long haul to Corpus Christi; 13 hour day. Wednesday two deliveries and an eleven hour day. Thursday and Friday one delivery each day with about 4 hours worked. Since I'm salary I'm loving this. Of course there is heat, humidity and mosquitoes to contend with.

 

Salaried, that's nice with the 4 hour days.

I wanted home Monday the 20th. But they offered the 1100 mile load to Kansas that delivers on the 19th.
I turned it down, and then took it, it was too good to resist.

The software update thing going about as expected. Hopefully they get things worked out before much longer.

 

I find out today the assistant terminal manager who accused me of faking breakdowns is gone,not because of me,but i am not surprised.Donna doesnt have to tolerate things like that.

 

Since our IT guy is a ginger, I'm expecting to have to look for a pay phone to get my next load.

Plus Apple doesn't have an app for finding a pay phone.

 

Have you thought about getting a job at a Walmart dc being a yard dog,load/unload trailers,guard shack? My buddy made 40k his 2nd year at a dc. Might not be enough money but it's worth a thought. Also heard they are building a new dc in Davenport.

Far from politically correct and certainly not a troll. Just goes to prove your point a little more maybe. Sometimes you cannot tell what someone really means by just reading their words. And I have read plenty of his prior posts, just do not normally interact. Some are funny and some aren't. This is an open forum for everyone, not just a handful of people who get each other. We can all pretty much say nearly anything we want. You all said what you had to say about it and I said my piece.

 

I have read plenty of his prior posts just have never interacted. Felt no reason to until the other day. Based on his prior posts there is some sarcasm in there and I get it. There also is a real disdain for anyone who does not think, pee and maybe look like him. Mostly sexism, maybe a little of something else based on the post I decided to comment on. This is an open forum for everyone, not just a handful of people. I can say basically almost whatever I want within bounds, just like everyone else can. I said what I had to say as did all of you.

My "Rambo Radio" comment, yeah not the place for it and I see how it can be taken. Should have sent a direct PM instead. Don't really care who is or is not impressed. I know I'm not impressed by reading some of what I see on here in this particular thread. I'm not going to have anyone decide what kind of person I am because I do not think like them and had something to say about it. Most people can be sadly mistaken to decide who they are talking to strictly based on the words they write. Maybe myself included a little bit.
