On Independence Day I ran 675 miles in exactly 11 hours,
Unless he's on Peoplenet, he could log the pretrip at the end of the day, plus a little off duty or even, dare I say, Line 5 driving with a trailer, and wella, he's where he wants to be, sshhh

Got to the Dixon, Il. PILOT late one night a couple of weeks ago. Two spots left unless I wanted to make one somewhere. Both spots hadn't been taken because someone had left there nose out too far in the aisle. Another Crete driver jumped out and said he would guide me in. It still took over half an hour. I thanked him went back to my truck just as another Crete driver pulled up and attempted to back in the remaining spot. I helped him back in and it took another half hour. We chatted and as I walked back to my truck another driver said he wanted to thank Crete for the past hour of entertainment.
Sustanon, tucker, Dinomite and 1 other person Thank this. -
It's sooo ridiculous all I can do is chuckle lol

EXCEPTIONAL’ COLD FRONT SLAMS MONTANA, WYOMING MOUNTAINS WITH RARE JULY SNOW PACK
http://www.breitbart.com/big-govern...a-wyoming-mountains-with-rare-july-snow-pack/
It whipped up a wild combination of snow showers and straight-line thunderstorm winds of 90-100 mph within the same state on Monday. The storm then produced extremely strong non-thunderstorm winds on Tuesday in the northern Plains, including gusts in excess of 70 mph in parts of two states.
The National Weather Service in Billings, Montana, summed the situation up bluntly in a tweet Tuesday: "This pattern should not happen in July."

HOW's Montana?? Dang you love keeping me in suspense...
I should have stayed home, left with a 400 mile load, got another 400 miler, and now this one is a tad under 400 miles.xlsdraw Thanks this. -
I was just thru that part of Montana recently...glad the snow waited for me to get thru and gone for once before it started.
Hope XLS didn't get snowed in up there at his property....can only imagine the conversation between him and the op's monkeys...XLS-I can't leave, the road is too icy...Op's-it's July, it doesn't snow in July, take this load and go...XLS-no, really, we got 8" and the state trucks already took off the plows for the year, so we have to wait for the weekend, they say it'll melt by then.TLeaHeart Thanks this. -
Update. Sat Tuesday without a load and a fresh 70 in Billings. Exactly why I always specified that I needed a load Passing through Whitehall and not loads with completions or origins in Montana. So I called Ops late Tuesday afternoon and my Ops Manager that is generally very helpful was out of the office til early August. So I was able to get a hold of the Ops manager on duty and he authorized me to go ahead and deadhead to my property. THANKS Craig. Dont know his last name. We set my PTA for noon Wednesday. Visited with Good Friends near Whitehall Tuesday night. Spent the night at the pullout near Silver Star that overlooks our property. Watched a beautiful sunrise Wednesday morning and then went down and checked our property. All was well. Headed back to the little truck stop @ Whitehall and made myself available at noon. Immediately got a preplan for a pickup window this morning in Blackfoot, Idaho. 231 miles more MT and 236 loaded for Friday morning delivery. Just a one days total drive so we headed back to our friends place in Whitehall and spent the day and evening with them. Rolled from their place @ 04:00, picked up my load in Blackfoot and currently in a dock at Springville, Utah getting unloaded at the Friday Consignee.
Wild Murphy and tucker Thank this. -
Update, MT @ Friday Consignee.
