Poly, get with the times? Hahaha. State line mileage, no toll-pass transponder, paper logs, most communication via phone not q/comm, no paperwork scanning (only get paid when you turn in paperwork at the office)...they don't change until they have to.

I got the aluminum perch, I really ain't started hooking it up, I have a Connex 3300,
But me and the new truck with 459,917 miles on it(I stumbled upon it) are at Freightliner in Harrisburg.
The part will be here Thursday or Friday, so I have to get back over to New Kingston to the hotel for a couple of days.
I changed my Prepass over today, I had to call in and get step by step directions,

Where are you getting the power for your radio?, on the Prostar I had to run a wire down to the fuse panel.
Just scraping the stock CB power wire against the ground, it seems the Cascadia might be able to handle it.
And I almost bought the stainless steel perch, last year, but I thought I'd never need it.
It's odd running around town without a radio, no way I could drive without it.

Sounds like the trucking version of the movie 'Groundhog Day'

My new truck will be fixed Thursday morning, New Kingston got me another day in the hotel,
I call Indy to check in for breakdown pay, the new guy says he's going to put me in a different truck. So I would have to swap at Freight liner.
He thinks I should be able to swap and still be ready for a load today.
