Sorry, the picture sucked, I almost deleted it,
More shags again, I turned down a 350 mile load yesterday that delivered around midnight, or during my 10 hour break.
Then I take a 280 miler from Social Circle to Florida, but with traffic and my break, I arrived 30 minutes late at the receiver. But it's a shag.
I asked my terminal about a day cab job, no luck there, I got told I ran 104 thousandish miles so far this year, Yea!!
And this park smart sounds like a jack hammer, and they put the vent tube inside the cabinet so the condensation can get on everything. Good design there.

I earned myself the "Biggest Bonehead in the Company" award on Monday...

Went to get my trailer, backed under the one next to it, made it all ~320 miles to my 1st stop before I realized. And of course it ended up being 320 miles out of route for that load.

But I didn't have to backtrack to Shelby real light in the storm winds, and I got a trip to my favorite state (Wisconsin) out of it.

Yikes, Im always scared I got the wrong trailer and check a dozen times. And Wisconsin is great.

The greasy wheel gets the grease, (me) 4 fuel stops on this load, but then the 300 milers always have 2 fuel stops too.

I usually am too. But that day I started last than I wanted to, after a bit of an argument work my mom's roommate/caregiver, and the weather was quickly going to ####.

So I was pissed off and in a hurry. Bad combo.

    tucker Thanks this.

I once met a driver at Crete (many years ago ) . He had picked up a load in California (back when Crete hauled plenty of long haul freight ). His load was going to North Carolina. So, he got to NC and the receiver saw that the load was supposed to deliver in Kansas. The driver had to backtrack to Kansas. Crete didn't charge him for the out of route miles. Then the driver complained to me that he was gonna have a small paycheck because he was only getting paid for CA to KS.
The driver didn't check his bol and took the wrong load.
