That sucks ( I no longer allow myself to talk politics or oil prices) but Poly, Magnum and Big G must be the place to be.

My 2,300 mile run from GA to UT, I dunno. I picked it up the 30th, got here yesterday afternoon (the 5th), they might be done by this afternoon.
I guess it beats a lot of short loads. I spent New Year's Eve at an Indian Casino, then Amarillo, a reset in Flagstaff, :) and a short hop up here where I killed another night and most the day waiting for my appt.
    Free wifi.
I ran Hwy 89a thru northern Arizona, crossed the Grand Canyon or Marble Canyon, , it was beautiful, up high it snowed, I reached out to snap the ice off the wiper and the cheap winter blade they put on at Indy fell down on the road.
I stopped right there in my lane and walked back for it, no traffic on the small 2 lane.
    Floor load ulgh

Try Big G Express. I have been driving for them since Dec 1st 2015. They run my butt off. I don't sit anywhere.

I've seen them in Tejas, so at least they run there often enough to get you home.

If you do reefer freight, Magnum runs a lot down to TX

I still like running local. I still have a good gig it's just I'm covering someone's ### who got banned from our biggest customer. Why they haven't fired him (like the three other people who have been banned from there) I don't know. I'm running 10.5 hours a day 5 days a week and having to be on-call every Saturday while the guy who f'ed up is getting his weekends off. He got the holidays off and since we used to split the loads pretty evenly I know what else is out there. So I know he's getting the easy stuff. It's not fair that he messed up and I'm suffering the consequences...but what in life is fair??
