The correct answer was the dangling fuel hose, but he did fuel at the Lincoln terminal,
I imagined he fueled up 800 miles away and no one saw the right side of his truck to notice it and holler at him on the CB .

Aaaaaaaaaaaaand set the processes in motion last night to bring this chapter of my trucking career to a close. Waiting all weekend for a load was the last straw. Large common carriers be dammed.

Unless you go to one with less than 50-100, it isn't much better usually. Poly had 250-300 during my 2 years, while they paid higher, they had less equipment, so when I had regular trouble with my truck, there were less options when it came to swapping. And as far as with Magnum, 250-300 OTR drivers, decent equipment, a driver is a name not a number, but fewer employees means higher health insurance rates.

I'm not divulging too many details until the change looks more or less certain, but it is a private fleet, about 150 company trucks, reefers. Have a friend that drives there, says it's the best company she's ever driven for, has been there a year and a half and hardly ever takes home less than 1k in a week.

I just noticed Cowtipper got banned. We lost a lot of good posters lately, Cranky , Joseph and a few others.

Cranky got banned? Oh darn. I ignored him after he showed his ### in a PM to me a while back, so he has been missing on my pages for a while.

Cowtipper was banned because, how should I say it...trolling without a license. From what I gather, didn't put up much of a fuss about it so I guess the powers that be had legitimate reasons for doing it. It was getting a bit out of hand over on the Magnum thread.
