Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

I'm pissed! A fence will go up first, if I ever snap. There's cardboard sheets everywhere.
I did post a note on the junk car and a pickup parked in front of it.
If that cars there when I get home, I'll get drunk and play with the tractor and loader ...

I dropped at Walmart, got an empty and a preplan to move an empty trailer to Lincoln, I could use some drinks at Quaker Steak in Grand Island... But the trailer they think is empty is half full of crap,


The latest, ugh, from a woman, find someplace to clean it out.

 

Coincidently that was the last load until the 5th in this area, Really, no really, everyone that empties out now will be here until Tuesday. Really.
So, I'm lucky that I can draw detention until they get the trailer empty,

 

Guess it's a good thing we're all out here over the holiday, wouldn't want to be home enjoying ourselves

 

Meanwhile I'm 139 miles from home and will stop thru tomorrow.

 

Yep, they had me t-call a load in Columbus on Saturday. No empty trailers there, so instead of telling me where to get one, they told me they can't do anything until I find one...really, I thought it was their job to find one for me. Still sitting here. The only benefit is a 34 hour got done...I was short on hours. I will push my AssMan for some layover on this...why they had to t-call my load is a mystery, especially if they had nothing in the area here either. Maybe the planners sweetheart had to get somewhere and they needed my load to get him there....meanwhile I was finally given a load today...to friggin' Jersey. BAH!

 

ugh, they voided my trailer move and knocked me off detention pay.

 

The floor looks like a reefer, but there is no chute in the roof. For a dry van guy, they give you a lot of reefers to pull.

 

The reefer was on too, I snapped the seal and found that mess,
They might have been hoarding that for Tonn's picnic today.
But they'd have never let me leave without paperwork,

 

Ah, but there IS a chute in there....it runs down the sides and it's white, so camouflaged very nicely. Also looks like that trailer had tires in it recently...
