Been here 6 years, how long should I wait?

 

When I was there (before the "guaranteed detention") I got 1 out of every 3 or 4...so infrequently that I stopped even turning in forms. In fact, in my 10 years there, I still had the original book they gave me in orientation when I left, because I used it to take notes. The one thing that use to whizz them off is when I reminded them that without me requesting detention, no one generated a PO, and without a PO, they wouldn't charge the customer for detention, and the company makes a whole lot more per hour than the drivers...so.they only screwed themselves when they screwed me out of it.

 

Since guaranteed detention was put in place, I've been paid on every one I've turned in

I've been here almost 9 years, and I collect on every detention I turn in. I collected probably 50-60% of the time before the guaranteed detention, but have collected every time since the guaranteed started.

 

Doing the night shift thing on a load from Greenville to Nevada MO. Filled up in Fair Play and managed to squeeze in another 35 gallons at the Birmingham Pilot before ending my day at West Memphis Flying J. Only class joints for this truck.
My trusty Garmin Nuvi has gone dark. I've got enough Pilot points to replace it with another car GPS or I could cough up an additional $100 for a big boy one. Is it worth it?
