Crete Carrier - A Year In Review - Fall 2013 Going Forward

I'm hauling building supplies in a straight bed. 6 to 2:30, a little overtime, occasional Sat.

 

This could be my last night on the road, or not.
I have a choice of shifts at the other place, start at 23:00 or 15:00.
I'll have to make a spreadsheet on which one gives me optimal beer drinking time.

I got my safe driving bonus


And my truck wouldn't let me send my Empty Call, I killed the batteries and tried to reset it for 20 minutes but it was froze tight.
I had to call Lincoln and have them do it. Plus they didn't have any empties so I'm bobtailed.

 

Another trip to Owensboro and managed to run out of hours at Hillbillies TruckStop. I'm definitely not doing this trucking thing right.

 

That's a ####hole, you should have stayed at Lowe's or stopped at my place.
I dropped today at Kimberly Clark too

 

Breakdown took over 3hrs...to answer phone...so Loves could get approval to fix a tire

 

Ahhh mega's...I had a tire fixed at Love's in Wady KY yesterday myself. I was 3rd in line, and I think it took all of an hour or so from check in to driving down the road. I guess that's one plus for working for a smaller company. Our afterhours breakdown is the Mt. Juliet shop...I think the phone rang 5 times before he answered it.

 

Log it all on Line 4 and deliver it late.
