Read an article with a fitting quote. "We live in a state that is trying to kill us. We have sinkholes, alligators, poisonous snakes, poisonous spiders, and sharks. And if that isn't enough, mother nature sends us hurricanes. But we still love it, and wouldn't trade places with the rest of the country. Plus people still flock here for their piece of paradise". Pretty much describes us to a "t"

I took my 4 days hometime, and now I'm on vacation for 5 days.
They finally called me back today......
Tomorrow morning I do an interview and road test.
I'll let you know how it turns out.

They need a lot of drivers, maybe you should sign up.
I don't mind Crete's micromanaging bull ####, I ignore most of it. If I get 2 fuel stops on a 400 mile load I'll fill up at the first one just for spite, and I never ever worried about idle time, usually I kept it colder then I liked just to burn more fuel. #### Tonny, and his horse.
I love longer OTR loads, I like being away from home for a month at a time. Last month I was on national freight with the longer loads, I loved it, but I was terrified they would put me on "zoned freight"
And the last night I was out I stayed at the Walmart in Jasper, TN, I went to the Mexican pub there and had great bar talk with an old hand in a daycab that was taking drywall to Houston and deadheading back.
    I love nights like that.
