    That may sound silly but I just don't like their looks on the truck. I prefer the aluminum wheels. They look much nice.

    Then buy your own truck, the wheel covers help fuel economy

    For what little they help Fuel Economy.... how bout checking for Loose Lug Nuts or any Fluids on the Wheel??

    I met one driver that didn’t have them, he said he went through the Loves Tire Pass a lot and they have to remove them to hook up their hoses and after a couple of times it ruined them.

    I can’t imagine them saving anything significant fuel mileage wise.

    I recall Schneider claiming a tenth of a mile per gallon when they first installed them on their trucks. For a fleet of significant size, that runs into money.

    Still, fuel has been the same price give or take a few cents for years now. Lately in the past couple years there’s this huge push to get aero and wheel covers. You can have it. I don’t need a hood, but I’d never use wheel covers. What if you blow a wheel seal and can’t see oil everywhere and burn it up? There goes all of that $12 saved on fuel
