It's a contracted school and CRST funds it. You pay for it by driving for them for 8 months.

Look on their web site. They have them all listed, but by there own admission Cedar Rapids is the best one.
My son just graduated from Kirkwood and does his orientation Monday. Me I decided to go a different route.. -
If you`ve got anyway to get funding for Kirkwood`s 4 week training coarse, its much better than CRST training of 7 days thru the same school, and in the long run much cheaper. Its runs around 2800.00 for the 4 week scholl. Just my 2 cents

It's 14 days for CRST, but lets not get nit-picky
trukngrl Thanks this. -

Human by Birth, Klingon by deeds!! -
I dont think the one in CR was, i watched 3 or 4 classes go out while i did mine. They just get them good enough to pass the CDL test, then CRST takes them.

My son just finished the two week program yesterday. I WAS scheduled to do 3 weeks. The first was self-study to pass the CDL written. My son is in Cedar Rapids right now.
