CRST Paid!! Can't get Cert. of Completion of CDL

How long ago did you pay? We are talking a bureaucracy, it could take a couple days to "clear". I'd wait as long as that anyway. Other than that I really don't have much, just hope you get it resolved.

 

I think some misunderstand the OP. He went to the CRST sponsored training, received his CDL, but did not receive his 160 hour training certificate from the school. Most companies want to see the training certificate showing he completed the 160 hour course, and CRST withholds the certificate until you either do your time with them, or you pay the loan off with them for the school.
I would contact AmEx immediately and explain the goods/services were not delivered as promised, you paid the loan off to get the certificate, yet the certificate has not been produced. Make sure you keep notes of conversations with CRST, and while most detest email, try and stay to emailing the person at CRST and the School, while verbal notes are nice, emails are hard to dispute what was said. If all else fails, take both to small claims court, see who coughs it up first.

Some companies will take your word that you passed the school. After all, you have the cdl and can pass a road test.

Anyone seen this ####? So are they trying to go as far as not even getting students their cdl's while in school and get cheap labor out of cdl permit holders?

Ya,i Quit CRST in late 90's after trainer ,after teaming.Still havent paid them. WHYshould I,they got 2 free months of driving out of me.Well honestly they paid me a total of $379.
