That light incident, the LEO could write all 3 infractions because each one was a different function. I'm not agreeing with it as it was obviously an ahole manuver if the solution was simply plug it back it. The washer, it depends. I have never had two washers squirt the same and there's bugs, it doesn't matter because you have clean it by hand.
The read end sucks. I was rear ended by an O/O after I had slam my brakes after having a tow truck try to do a swoop and squat on me. Minimal damage. She was very apologetic and her truck was worse than mine (hood damage) We talked about it and I called my Boss and asked if it was ok to just shake hands on it and He said ok. We shook hands (after she signed a waiver) and we both went off.
It doesn't sound like your sorry at all that you cant find trucking work. This may be a blessing in disguise and pseudo-force you to look for something else you might enjoy. Good luck, Buddy -
cetanediesel and double yellow Thank this.

i wonder how the op conducted himself and his attitude while stopped by an officer?????
If i was a cop i would nail every hot headed sob i could and throw the book at them.
If the guy was nice i would be nice as well.
Anyhow i suspect an attitude problem or someone else peed in the cops cheerios that day.alds, MJ1657 and double yellow Thank this. -
Yep, definitely my fault on a seatbelt (warning, not ticket). Yep, my fault on bumping the guy in front of me.
No, no attitude to the cop. Was really nice to him, very helpful and told him that I liked his Yukon and we started talking it up on how the Border Patrol's Raptors are the coolest ever. He was real cool with me and I with him.
The point is that before the CSA point system, a warning ticket for a seatbelt and a rear-end would not have put me out of my career.
But it seems that the crowd here likes to point out the obvious (all of which I happily shared) and shake eachother's junk.Know that I'm not shifting blame, as I'm accountable for my own actions. This situation just wouldn't have happened if we were pre-CSA2010. Point in case.
Hope it doesn't to any of you!
Kind regards.osokusmc, double yellow and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -
CSA's function is to track so called "Crash Risk". The idea being that drivers who don't take care of simple things like burned out lights are more likely to crash and kill innocently texting 4wheelers and such.
cetanediesel Thanks this. -
how about the drivers that don't wear seatbelts.
or the driver talking on his cell phone.
and tractor lights. really. there IS a trailer behind that truck.
the window wash though, is BS.
by the way driver. next time put your seatbelt on BEFORE you get stopped. and he walks out to your door. -
Seatbelt is personal choice whether or not I want to take the risk of serious injury or death and not some nit wit sitting behind a desk. I have been caught speeding a few times and they write me up for no seatbelt. In court I have stated the seatbelt was on and that ticket has been dismissed both times so far. I do not argue with the speeding and they have both been downgraded to non moving violations but still cost the same fine amount.
cetanediesel and landstar8891 Thank this. -
Been required by the law since the 70's for commercial drivers.
Guess, you would not want a medical card either since taking drugs could be classed a personal choice as well.alds Thanks this. -
You can still drive a dump truck. Better hurry up and put in those apps before winter gets here.
