Cummins M11 Sounds Rough

    I'm going to guess that the only reason they found residue on the piston was because #6 wasn't firing correctly.

    I'd just run it with new injectors and keep track of oil consumption. If it starts getting high, then consider a rebuild. You don't have to replace injectors again at rebuild time either if they're working properly.

    Also how much oil is a lot of oil? Like a gallon between oil changes or a gallon a week?

    A gallon every 10,000 is normal.

    You can buy a lot of oil for the price of a rebuild :)
