The exit line is full, and it continues to grow. I'm thankful for the opportunity but the reality is not living up to the hype.

More than thankful for the opportunity here, and the career they helped me to start...As I stated before I will do my time, and they promise everyday they are making improvements that they have let go...So when my year is up, if this company is a good company to work for, I will definitely stay. If it is bad I will leave...Very simple. I didn't take this job with intentions to work my year and leave. I came in to take on a career and learn. I also put forth 110% and expect to get that back. If I don't then I will have to try and find that.
Reading the threads on here you would think that is impossible. I just hope that things do change for the better, because I talk to many drivers who are happy here, some have been elsewhere and came back. I don't get how some people can get all the runs they could ever want, and then some, like me who sit as often as I do.
I delivered yesterday # 1415 and sent in an MT call # 1600. Got dispatched this morning # 1130 after I sent in my on duty mac # 0630
Drove 1.5 hours to find out the load was picked up the day before. Have been sitting here since then...Someone really dropped the ball... -
I start c1 in ftworth tx Monday. I am really ready to start a new career. I have been working a plant job for 6 years. I got laid off last month and there is nothing here so here I go on the road. How often does usa come to tx. Since I live in Paris tx which in north east tx just wondering if I will get to slip by the house here and there to see the family as I am coming through. Will I get paid for orientation.
-
We have a lot of runs through TX. If you live there you will drive everywhere but there. Yes you get paid for orientation.
-
just one more question will have to drive my personal vehicle to orientation or will they provide transportation
-
You will dreadfully ride the greyhound there...However long of a drive it is, Greyhound takes twice as long

Thank you for sharing your knowledge I am 33 but I might as well be 21 again I don't know all the ropes for sure.I have been in this town all my life. I am ready to see the u.s. I have been on the road some with my uncle during the summer when I was I'm high-school. He let me drive some. The farthest
Was about 50 miles. -
It is an interesting career and I love my career more and more everyday. As far as the company I work for, they have their flaws just like many other outfits out there, but they are better than some I have heard as well. I am glad for the opportunity they give me. I may have to suffer for my first year, but after that I can take my career wherever I see I am appreciated. I have been sitting for the past 2 days. I am a hard runner and get all my loads there way before they are scheduled at most times, and if not it's because it was late to begin with, or something that was uncontrollable came up. I don't play around when I pick up loads. I get them to the consinee as fast as possible so I can get another load and keep moving...Recently it hasn't been happening.

It is always the same story with USA at first you see the newbies saying things are great haha but if you watch long enough they will change there tones then you got those on here who praise USA and any one with a different opinion is a L haha what a joke look if you come to USA remember no matter what you do in the end you will regret it but hey just do your year and leave but in reality that's what USA wants it keeps cheap labor coming in ...before you sign that dotted line consider what your willing to sacrifice because USA will put it to the test...your family means nothing here so forget hometime USA is currently in motion to restructure this and it will be a disadvantage to the driver ...USA wants you in your truck all the time sitting or not ...now USA had announced regional this is a joke ...it will be the greatest lie yet ...don't buy into this regional deal it will bite you trust me you will regret the day you agréed to it stay otr ....the reason USA is doing this is to keep the otr drivers moving on weekends cause they have no freight ...if you agree to regional you are just giving USA permission to let you sit on the weekends and I promise you it will not be at home...USA has a way of wanting to change the rules when it suits them there policies mean nothing ...this company is a disaster and is doomed to failure and I promise you this much things are going to get worse in the coming months lol I have my sources in the Corp office and you would crap youself if a told you who lol ....if you just look close enough at what USA is doing you will see where we are headed open your Eyes guys you all have experation dates lol USA is all about the first year guys then you don't matter Brian Anderson wad put in charge of retention for 1st year drivers and he is good at getting your issues taken care off but after that year your toast USA is focused and poised for cheap labor after your year they really want you gone ...this is not my opinion lol this is what I have been told ....as a trainer for this company I make money no prob but once you come to my truck your doomed cause you signed that year contract I would tell every student I got to run for the hills if not for that ...you will make money 2 ways here ...train or run dedicated as a trainer ...everyone else well its just a matter of time sadly ...and don't think USA will let you leave peacefully noooooooo that's another battle haha I quit last month its funny cause I'm still here lol they just ignored me to funny they got to have us trainers we can literally do what we want ....but that does not mean we are running like we should ....I have seen lost miles and its getting bad out here across the board ...USA is losing business because why .....csa scores ...a lot of customers are refusing to let companies with poor csa ratings to haul there freight ....and this new qc system what a waste of money its worse than before ...USA loves those tax write offs tho ...this company will give new drivers 4 grand sign on bonus but will not give current drivers layover pay dock detention or paid holidays ....please ....
