$83,000? For dry van work out of Atlanta? Yeah, I'd definitely be looking elsewhere. $116,000 a year for dry van work is the bottom of the barrel. $83,000 is entering C.R. England level pay.

I am reminded of a very old story which is based somewhat on the sea. The boy who stood on the burning deck to keep the battleship in the fight even though it might cost him very much or everything.

In this case 83K is awesome. Stack it until the one paycheck fails to clear. Then you will know if not already that the company is finished.

Go down with your boots on buried to your knees in brass casings I say.

With Cass Index last friday and Baltic Dry's continued failures this week I am getting to where this is the time to do what you can to be ready for a shortage situation in our Economy. We will get through this time but you have to play for keeps. All of us have a number to our days.

Your boss might have lost out on a good contract and maybe a mega is going to take over for cheap.

I don't understand this bashing of 80000 #### dollars. Come on now. My income is a #### sight less than 18000 a year. And I am scratching out something from that. If I had suddenly come into 80000 clams there is going to be a one hell of a clambake .....

In fact I might just drive a truck once every 5 years. It would be a hell of a good time off between the necessary need to make that kind of money to finance the next 5 years.
