Then after you learn double clutching to pass the CDL the first trainer you get with will tell you "forget half of what they taught you in school!" ROFLMAO!

Then you are trained in an automatic!

This is great. With you around Rollover, no one is apt to be into any expectations and that is a good thing in my opinion:biggrin_2559:

I believe that. I was just talking with a trucker this a.m. and she said school is just to get you enough to be able to pass your CDL license. I mean basically, that seems to be what a lot of the shorter term schools are about. I went to accounting school years ago and it was 6 months. When I got out I couldn't even get hired as an accountant. I ended up as a secretary working for accountants. Lost it all after a time. I can only hope this goes better then that did, but again, my only expectations are on myself and to finish what I start to the best of my ability.

    Thanks FB:) Denise

its honestly not nearly as bad as i thought it would be.......same with the pre trip inspection, they both take a little work but arent all that bad at all especially if you really work at it

i paid $4000 of my own savings and missed 2 weeks of work to go to my CDL school locally and on my own....i wasnt there to mess around and fail, i gave it everything i had.....they said we could use the trucks to practice our pretrip inspection 24 hours a day and i went up there at 4 in the morning a few times to practice
