I did one. They sent it to the cop that did the inspection and he said he was right, I was wrong. Waste of time. But I know others have had better luck..

I submitted a Data-Q challenge for a trailer ABS light violation. The light came on whenever the service brakes were applied, then went out when they were released. The regulations don't address that issue, only how the light should behave when power is applied, and that it remain lit when there is a fault. The light was functioning correctly otherwise.
The violation was removed from the record.whoopNride, 6wheeler and TallJoe Thank this. -
The violation(s) go directly back to the very same officer who wrote up the violation(s). It is a stacked deck. No due process, no jury of your peers, a total conflict of interest when the same officer reviews your DataQ challenge....
6wheeler and AlexanderK Thank this. -

I did two, won both. It's a pretty simple process, goes quickly once you are set up on the website.

from what I have been told so far it depends on what the violation is on how succesful you can be on getting it removed. What are you trying to challange? One of the guys at our terminal just won one, for a dirty hazmat placcard during a rain/snow mix storm go figure....
