I would push that option. Speak with the main manager if necessaryFeedman, W923, IH Truck Guy and 9 others Thank this.

I called and was told that wasn’t an option because it’s warranty work and Eaton is sending it. This service guy said it usually takes a week because of the holidays but it will be installed within 24hrs.
So here’s a bad example of relying on warranty work.Feedman, IH Truck Guy, FullMetalJacket and 6 others Thank this. -
I called and they said not an option.Diesel Dave, Oxbow, Rideandrepair and 1 other person Thank this.

I appreciate your honesty - you’ve showed a thick skin here. We don’t normally see it.
It’s ok to take a step back and ‘ change tack’ when seas are rough.
Good luck.Feedman, AFC, IH Truck Guy and 9 others Thank this. -
Never had warranty work be in my favor on anything, a car or other equipment, they usually just nickel and dime it down the road until it is out of warranty, this exact reason is why I have old crap I can work on

Hopefully you can enjoy the time off.
W923, AFC and Diesel Dave Thank this. -
I'd like to echo @blairandgretchen 's words. Many of us have given you a rough time throughout your journey since you first got the trailer. I believe I can say none of us were trying to be mean, but rather point out the problems that it appeared you were going to have. I honestly didn't think warranty on a clutch was going to be one of them, especially if, according to @BoostedTeg , 150K in what can probably be classified as severe duty is a normal interval for the clutch just based on wear.
I for one hope things work out for you. -
Every new car i have purchased thru out the years, have bought warranty(denied it until they low balled it). The very little I’ve used them have paid themselves off, they giving me(rental) when the car was in shop. Zero deductible. I know Trucks are a different story but would be nice if they did the same as cars.

They always make me sign some disclaimer mess on new cars, rental cars, sometimes farm equipment idk why
Feedman, Cdemars316, Tug Toy and 3 others Thank this.
