    I never said don’t buy a truck, I said look at the big picture, trying to figure miles out so you can make a penny is not the big picture, it’s tripping over dollars to pick up dimes

    Lemme ask,

    if I find a really good deal on a tractor is it possible to just insure it as a passenger vehicle/bobtail? To simply avoid the super expensive insurance until I’m ready?

    was thinking I could buy it and just use it as a pick up truck replacement. Pull using a ball hitch

    You can get some temp insurance good for I think minimum is 30 days for like $3-600 good for transportation of truck

    Depending on your state you can get temp plates and hunter permits etc to move the truck around, I bought an old truck and rebuilt it while I stayed at my company job
