First off most people join dedicated fleets to get home more or so I did but I'm only helping out and it's going to stay that way I'm not letting them pay me like a rookie.
Dont know if all fleets do this but Walmart pays you $.28 a mile then only $10 a stop and you don't get paid for 1st stop then you don't get miles added to your mileage bonus and your rank disappears.
Sounds to me it's a scam They say you get HOME more and all the stops add up and you average 2200 to 2500 a week for me it works out great but only because I'm a OTR driver not on the fleet but all these drivers on the fleet are screwed out of so much $$$ I think it's bs and not right hell give the drivers there mileage Bonus at least.
And when or if you decide to another company don't they go by the miles you driven well some anyways the miles should keep adding up and not just Freeze.
Just my 2cents just wanted to see how other drivers feel about it
Dedicated Fleets are a scam

Yep. Was promised 400 miles a day Wasn't getting it after a while.

Just depends where ya out of... I've talked to quite a few out of Grandview Wallyworld and they seem to be getting 800-1400 gross/ week and only a day or less from home.

It depends on who you drive for, I filled in on a Wally account and was promised (and got) a min. pay of $200 a day! I now have a dedacaited run almost from my front door and back home daily and weekend off and make more than most OTR guy's (and more than I ever made OTR). The jobs are out there just not at Wally world!

I too was on a dedicated account (Not WM) and made good money. I drove between 1800-2200 miles per week and made just as much or more than I did when I was OTR. I was home every weekend, and left out on Sunday or Monday.

Also have off site warehousing in Lakeland and Jacksonville
Also, Floridas massive amount of goods coming overseas (typical Wal-Mart), juice and water production... The miles are lovely. I go to Nestle waters in Zephyrhills and Lee and both look like Wal-Mart Yards with all their trailers
Those guys don't have a problem getting home nightly.RightCoast Thanks this. -
The DCs Stores and Clubs also overlap.
Harrisonville went to Little Rock and N LR Sams but not the stores.

Sioux City Club
Grand Island and Lincoln Ne Clubs
Council Bluffs Club -
What I don't like about it is that when I (Over the Road driver) pull one of these accounts, Kmart/Sears/Walmart etc, I get the dedicated stop pay of $20 bucks instead of the $35 bucks I would normally get on OTR multi-stop loads.
