Sounds risky to me…I would not do this unless I had some idea who’s doing it just because if you have no inspection and some donkey head decides to have a power trip it is going to be worse than you were before…I have heard tales of ones who brag they can find a problem with a brand new truck. I can’t really say I’ve had many bad experiences with them but it still makes me a bit nervous

I’d personally rather have a filled inspection put out of service and at least have an inspection then not have one at all. Double brokering scam And having your customer getting involved is a pretty terrifying thing for a broker. Pretty much you could lose your customer. A guy with a failed inspection is way more safe than losing your customer.
Siinman, Beaver9, JimmyTwoTimes and 1 other person Thank this. -
I've had the same issues. I just move on to another load. I take pride in not getting inspected.

They may have more preferred carriers to do business with, ones with longer standing relationships with them. Freight is bad so everyone wants what they deem the best of the best.
Beaver9 and jamespmack Thank this. -
As mentioned probably lack of roadside inspections if it’s been over 2 years. Otherwise it’s just competition. The competition has better service. Mainly more trucks. Whether it slow or booming, whoever can best handle the load gets it.

Buggers finally got me, double broker scam.
For me, it was a week's worth of extra work and convincing an old boss that it was worth paying the originating carrier so my customer didn't have to. -
Just told again can't do it for no inspections.
Siinman Thanks this. -
You're not hauling cheap enough.
