I'm wondering how differnt companies set up their fueling policies. At Schneider we get a 'fuel solution' with each load that we are expected to follow 90% of the time. As long as we put in any amount of fuel at a stop it is considered a 'compliant stop'. Once per load a driver can request a new fuel solution.
So what's your company's policy for fueling?

My cos policy sucks there really is no policy just that the only place I can get fuel is at a Ryder shop. Sucks on the weekend when there are only 2 that I know of that are open 24/7.

Millis gives you a book with approved stops, you can put on as much or as little as you want when you want. They do ask you top off tanks/ fill up at terminals if you are there.

Back in the day before fuel sky rocketed,we could fuel wherever and get as many gallons as we wanted. Now they tell you where and how many gallons depending where you're at.

That depends on the company. Some drivers don't get that lukury you do and also depends if you're an O/O or not.Drivers can't just fuel wherever due to the high cost of fuel.So the routing says 50 gallons at a certain stop then maybe a couple hundred more miles they want you to fuel again.

Any TA/Petro when and where I want. My company doesn't support the theiving Pilot.

Loves first priority, TA second per my company. Every chain has locations you just do not go to for various reasons. I worked for Schneider when they started that fuel solution non sense but we were able to flagrantly ignore it for a few years until I left the company. I operate and care for the truck like its my own but some things are done my way.
