Picked up a load that apparently was dropped from someone. Quiet a bit DH to get there. Broker knew where I was. I used the tracking app they asked me too. They wanted me there at 9am the next morning but I ran out of hours. I unplugged my keeptruckin to get the load there. Figured this would b a one off kinda thing. But I made it. Had almost 6 hours of wait time. I told them as soon as I arrived and seen their was going to be a wait that I have to charge wait time after 2 hours and if this was going to be a problem to tell me now soo I could leave. Said as long as the tracking and the things are on the BOL it should b fine. I got screwed out of it all. I didn’t do wrong. Other than running my log illegally to get the load there. What can I do? Is their a certain procedure for this? Or do I just charge it to the game? And learn a lesson or something

That’s why you don’t break the law for them, if someone had ran into you, it’d been your fault, as you should not have been there.
If it’s not in writing, rate con or text, they won’t pay, if is, you’ll have to file on their bond, then they’ll blackball you and put in review you screwed up so no one will work with you.Savor the Flavor Thanks this. -
Haul another load for them. When you get loaded charge the detention fees to them and the load gets delivered as soon as you get paid in full.
baha Thanks this. -
That's one of the negatives in this biz. Getting screwed out of $$$ owed you.
alds Thanks this.
