Don't laugh.... A friend of mine QUIT his local fuel delivery job, after he "caught" himself trying to check the tank with a Bic.

That should be in the skills section for the CDL test....
Where do the different fluids ie.., engine oil, coolant, fuel, DEF, power steering fluid, etc....Go.....

These days I'm surprised some of these steering Wheel Holders even know where to put the key to open the door on a rig....Let alone find the ignition switch.....:biggrin_25515:

...and then there is the Flying Fish Hook in Walton, KY that yellow taped all their pumps a couple weeks ago. Inside the gals explained that something went amiss in their underground or ??? & that was mixing all the DEF and the fuel together. Who knows what really went on.

You mean like the ******* (name omitted to prevent bashing) using the little blue DEF hose to fill up his reefer:biggrin_2555: Guess his trainer should have woke the hell up for a fuel stop.

Yeah I asked why. He said he was told "That's for the second tank":biggrin_25521:

    That's too #### funny :biggrin_2559: :biggrin_25514: :biggrin_2559:

We had a guy get stuck at the pumps this past weekend. He was on a hump, drives off the ground.

I ask him if he had divider kicked in. The look on his face said it all.

He opened the door, I flipped the switch....and off he went. I hope he turned it off. :biggrin_25523:

Used to get guys bringing brewers grain out when Bud fired Pritchett Trucking. Watching those guys dump bags on the farm was very lucrative for my night milkers. They would charge them$ 40 to dump it for them.

After a while the new guy's got the training right before they got fired. That little switch was the whole secret. Well that and using a frameless to walk out.
