Disturbing behavior at truck stops...

stopped at a flying j for the night.found a tight spot.backed it in eventually.then after i finish my logs another truck pulls up beside me and parks.everything then went well.suddenly was woken up by a thud on my passenger side door.went to check upon it.to my horror and disgust found a urine bottle thrown there probably hitting my passenger side door.whats worse??? the urine started flowing out of the bottle.:/ woke up the trucker and asked him " Sir,are you finding your way back to the mayan civilization?" he shrugged me off like i never existed.i just went and alerted the truckstop staff.the truck after ten minutes left the place and parked in the back row. >.< i hate how trucking industry has developed into a arrogant hell hole. i loved it when i was a rookie everyone gave me tips and a pat at the back for a job well done.

 

about two years ago, when i ran OTR, my truck needed service while i was on hometime. i was only gonna be home for two days, but the shop didnt get my truck in until late the second day. So, I came back to work on my scheduled date at around 400am, get my paperwork and find a note from the shop saying find a different truck. Okay, no problem, i only have a short run, i could take a daycab....well after finding none available, the shop found a sleeper on the lot and told me to use it. Heres where it gets good.....They tell me the truck belonged to a disgruntled FORMER employee and they didnt have time to go over it. So no biggie right? i wont be sleeping in it anyway. So i head out on my trip, arrive at my stop to find i cant unload for another 4 hours, their silo was full. So i crawl into the bunk to take a nap and there it was....a big ole turd right there on the mattres. WTF????? I looked on the floor and to my horror i see a big giant sex toy all covered in poop. So i layed in the grass next to the truck and napped there in the sun. When I got back to the shop and showed them they opened everything up and stuck a firehose inside. Then sent the former pig in question a bill for thousands of dollars for repairs. The lawsuit is under litigation to this day....

 

ewwww i would have just walked back to the shop.never would have driven the truck again..

 

Redneck justice! It's amazing what's out there. I hope the company has their day in court and the judge teaches him how grown ups solve problems. Better yet I hope they subscribe to DAC so he has a hard time getting back on the road.

 

Lol, I can just try and imagine someone explaining that to a judge. I always use one simple metric when determining if I should retaliate against a company or person who made me mad: Will it help solve the problem? If the answer is no, I don't do it, seems simple right? But I guess it is a hard thing for some people.

 

One question. Just one.


HOW....in the WORLD....did you even get into the truck and not smell the organic material? I'm thinking someone may be stretching the truth just about the length of a turd here......

Coworker tells me he drove for a o/o got burned for a few paychecks. In retaliation he said " i dropped a steamer in a bag then smashed it till it was paste like then proceeded to smear it around the windshield seal and down into dash. Then pored a gallon of urine on both seats" I just walked away shaking my head i think for the first time i was completely speechless.

 

im guessing said turd was a couple days old, i never smelled it until i pulled the curtain back to go in the bunk..im told he was let go after destroying an $8000 blower (we did pneumatic tank work)

 

I saw a guy taking a dump under his trailer in a shipping yard of all places! In broad daylight. Gross! They had a bathroom in office too! what the heck is wrong with people? lol
