Do companies allow you to attend orientation multiple times?

I attended an orientation back in the end of September but I failed the road test because I bumped a curb with my right trailer tire, they had me do a complete pre trip, hook up to a trailer, and do a 45 dock and I did all of those but unfortunately hitting a curb is an auto fail for them so they sent me home after we got back from the road test. I was just wondering if most companies allow you to attend their orientation twice or something? I haven't gotten a driving job since then, so I have the same amount of experience as I did previously, which is zero. Or do companies require you to take a refresher course somewhere if you fail their road test and wish to try again for them?

I would call but apparently all their recruiters have gone home for the day so...

    What's your location?

    What company?

No CDL - no foul. Try again.

Success is getting knocked down 9 times and getting up the 10th time.

Wisdom is to stop calling the guy that knocked you down nasty names.

Maybe you will make more through orientation pay than you would if you actually did drive ...

I got sent home for busting a physical on blood sugar and they let me attend again. I would see no problem for you trying again. What can they do but say no? Do not fear a little rejection.

They do,but you'll probably have to wait 60 or 90 days.

The company is DM Bowman, and I have a CDL, I graduated trucking back in June though. Think I'll just wait until Monday and give em a call and see. I live in Maryland by the way.

That is really the only logical thing to do. We can't tell you what they will say. OTOH, you might use the weekend researching some other companies. . .

You better find a job with somebody pretty fast. The longer you are out of truck driving school, with a CDL, and no experience, the harder it will be to even get any company to talk to you. Your choices are limited, now, and getting fewer with every week that goes by.

You graduated trucking school in June, and did not go to any orientation until September? You're not in a hurry, are you?

Did you apply to any other companies or attend any other orientations?

if ur record is clean you can just travel around the country doing orientation free food and lodging and most will reimburse for gas. its a little harder to do now but back in the 90's i sent 4 months just going to orientation. traveling and having fun ...
