My overweight most certainly went on my inspection WHEN the csa bs started.

The date of event happened 30 months BEFORE csa started. And was on record the remaining 6 months.

My psp has never come with a score.

Why can't, people, see this post # 4 and understand it? If you look close enough this question is answered. Here I will help you out! This is FROM the FMCSA!

For this overweight to even GET to the feds it has to be listed on an inspection report. Look back at what I posted. It clearly says these violations will be cited. The FMCSA does NOT any longer place overweight tickets into the Cargo Basic. They are still cited and addressed if there is an investigation.

Since they are not counted in the Cargo Basic they are also NOT counted in the PSP either. They may be listed, but there is no "score".

OVERWEIGHT DOES NOT AFFECT CSA, PERIOD!

Edited: As far as the driving record goes, it depends on the state. In the US most states do NOT consider overweight a moving violation. To fully answer that question the question MUST be narrowed to an actual state. Blanket statements on this MVR topic can't be answered.

But the real question is. If you’re not overweight, will you have anything to worry about?

Ok, so I got pulled over today at the eastern Oklahoma scale. I'm Hauling a load of RxR Ties. Drives were almost 5k over. Got a level 2 inspection. Only thing that came out of it was violation for overweight. No citation. I've been trying to find out how many points it is against my CSA, but no luck. Can anyone help me out?

    just fyi,

An overweight ticket DOES go on your PSP report. Those tickets SHOULD expire from your PSP after 3 years.
I have one that didn't and I have DataQ'd it through the FMCSA. The weigh station that issued the citation
will review it and remove it from the report.

Drivers do not have a personal CSA score anymore. What a driver does now affects the company's overall CSA
    score.

Crashes stay on for 5 years
Inspections and Violations stay on for 3 years

From the beginning of the PSP {I was an original user} the driver NEVER had a score on the PSP; just a listing of the Inspection violations of the driver and co-driver and the accident history.

Funny how the CSA/SRS incidents clear in 24 months yet the PSP holds the driver history for 36 months.

Biggest reason for no PSP 'scores' is the time weighted multiplier on the carrier's CSA where the actual infraction points are multiplied by 3 for the first year, then by 2 and finally by 3 over the 13th to 24th months.

Since the potential number of drivers, not to mention the co-driver tie in, vastly outnumbers the amount of carriers AND since they hold the driver data 12 months longer; an actual driver's score would have complicated things greatly without any benefit to the end-user.

When I was using the PSP system, it was very easy to sort the provided violations between carrier based VRS potential driver fail-abilities.

In fact, I used the PSP more to find hidden employers when odd DOT numbers show on the inspections that don't match those carriers I've contacted, based on the application.

Just saw this thread. All of you noobs in school, all rookies in orientation, all students in a trainer’s truck:

In every classroom, at every job orientation, you will have a big mouthed moron seeking attention and disciples. As soon as you identify the village idiot, distance yourself. Don’t even bother saying hello.

Notice the confusion in the opening post? The village idiot realized that OP was listening and suddenly couldn’t shut up. The village idiot will tell you how he did whatever, but did he really? Next he will talk about navy seals and US Marshals.

    ‘300lbs over on the steers’.
