I was considering a power steering delete on my truck to gain some mpgs. But I'm a little concerned about the blister thing.

injun, are you saying a spinner is against the law, i have had one for thirty years been DOTed plenty never been questioned,
-
Ounds like your gripping that wheel waaaaaaay too hard and maybe need an alignment. I kep my truck aligned, good steer tires and wipe it down regularly other than that you need to use some lotion when holding your "other wheel"
volvodriver01 Thanks this. -
i think it has something to do with the seasons changing. maybe they are just dried out.
i have gotten blisters from mowing lawns before, but they go away. and i don't grip the wheel hard at all -

These are state laws. You've been around long enough to know some cops love to write us for state and local laws...and ignorance is not a defense.Last edited: Dec 15, 2011

A spinner? Are you serious, lol.
One came with my forklift.....but I guess I won't be checked by DOT on that. -
I have callouses by now, but sometimes after taking a week off, my hands will be a little tender the first day or two. Gloves do help. I will alternate gloves, no gloves until my hands toughen back up. You could also try a steering wheel cover.
