Believe it or not George isn’t at home,
Anyways, I’ve been driving a while and did a lot of creative logging when I first started.
Screw that, legal is so much better.
Do you park wherever you can at truckstops?

The whole parking at night is a pain in the arse... Most nights it feels like scoring a winning touchdown when I pull the air brakes in a decent spot.
homeskillet, D.Tibbitt, Tombstone69 and 3 others Thank this. -
I've decided to start parking on the fuel islands...
homeskillet and D.Tibbitt Thank this. -
I will park where I can if I’m out of time or tired but I won’t block anyone in. I also try to make it a point if I’m running at night to get a nice cherry spot so someone just getting done can get my spot without having to do any hero backing.

Pulled in early last night to a spot at the Pilot in Milwaukee, way at the end of the parking lot against the curb and snow bank .
Woke up at 4:30 am to roll to my appointment and had a Frikin van Yanker parked in a none parking space partially blocking me in.
Serves me right for pulling in nose first , but I got dog tailed once by a
van and will never set my tractor out for the Hit again, bash my tank, heck I do it.
Made me late for my appointment doing my 45 point turn to get out ,but still quicker and more pleasant than trying to wake up the driver in -40 degree temps .Last edited: Jan 30, 2019
