since im governed at 62, im always at 62, even in construction zones that is 55 speed limit.. i cant do nuthin dangerous at 62 mph.. 62 mph is a safe speed everywhere, even in tight corners, hardly use the brakes at all
Do you pass trucks governed 1mph less than you?

As a Prime driver, the times I belong in the left lane are few and far between. I normally run around 57mph, so the only times I come across a driver going slower than me is when it's another Prime driver or some chap who's anal about fuel mileage. I'm on a dedicated account, so my runs are a lot shorter than most others. I try to plan my day with plenty of buffer time, so that when these situations do happen, I can afford to back down to their speeds for however many miles. No need to piss everyone else off. Running at the speed I do also allows me room to accelerate for a pass before I hit the governor.

On the other hand, if I see someone very slowly getting closer I'll increase the speed 1 or 2 mph, problem solved before it becomes a problem.
Reading some of the posts I'd swear there are drivers who don't realize the truck is variable speed.bzinger Thanks this. -
I'm ungoverned (I actually think it's 85 but I've never bothered checking)
I'll pass when safe. Snail races? I rather keep the idiots in front of me than behind me. I typically run 70-73 on I-75 and haven't had any issues, yet. -
