No video, but on Thursday i was a quarter mile from a clover leaf off ramp, i was still doing 55 (ground speed) and some usf Holland guy who had been on my icc for 3 miles, (he had plenty of opportunities to pass) decided to monster it around me, i just laughed... and enjoyed the smell of cooking brakes as he all but smokes em to make thw tight ### turn.... why? Just why? We were getting onto a 4 lane 60 click road... way before or just after no troubles, but he picks the worst time...

Probably. They need to get a decent sprint going in order to pole vault over that wall :biggrin_2559:

Maybe it's because I'm governed at 62 but I haven't been passed bad enough to save the video. Sure they drift across the zipper,
About the only video I feel is eorthy to save is dumb stuff, like Swift carrying his laundry

I drove a governed truck, 58MPH on the pedal, 62MPH cruise. I always backed off to let drivers pass me if there were cars or fastrer trucks behind..... Might affect my MPG a bit but it's the the right thing to do.

Part of driving is tactics. There's a time and a place. Some so called truckers need a reminder. The call into safety.

Right! Patience is the one thing that needs to be stressed more than anything else in our world, and post after post and real life incident after incident proves its not being stressed nearly enough

Funny you mention that st beat. Decades ago when I was a pup learning to truck. A old hand schooled me for a few months. Teamed firsted then run together. OS loads. He said the most important thing in trucking. Patience! You are a top hand in my book.

Daddy had a saying, "who had the right of way in any situation", the answer is, "the one that wants it!"
    There's a good lesson there!

I'm governed at 62 - if some guy going 63 wants to pass me I'll back off a little and let him by. I hate getting drug into snail races.
