I'm governed at 65. If a truck is creeping by I'll let off the pedal for 5-10 seconds then go back to 65. That's usually enough to let the faster truck get on by and it has very little net effect on me. I'm not going to sit in the granny lane with my foot to the floor and then blame the faster truck for backing up traffic.

It sucks to have to slow down a 62 mph truck down,to let super trucker pass me,I do it all the time,but...
Please put some distance between us,especially in low traffic conditions, and rain.
Its not that important,to be in the right lane..shesh.

I didn't even make it through all the posts. What is this nonsense about? I drove plenty of slow trucks. It was one of the reasons I bought my own. Slow trucks are a hazard, but you just can't convince a safety person of that. I'm not a fast driver, by any means, never had a speeding ticket in a truck ( mostly because most of them couldn't speed anyway) but when I got my own, it was so refreshing to be able and pull out and pass, not struggle along. If I had drivers ( if heck freezes over) I'd give them the biggest motor I could.

Nope. Just too lazy to fight my way around all the 62.5-64mph trucks. Rolling at 60mph leaves me relaxed and prepared for whatever, saves me stress, and still lets me knock down as many miles on average as riding the governor at 65. Plus, I've got some throttle left if I hit a wind shear or have to pass a slower vehicle without doing the whole turtle race thing.

My day cab CC is set at 59. I only pass people that have their triangles out.

OTR last year was my truck, ungoverned.

I would never even consider doing OTR in a truck that did 60. I'd hang myself in the sleeper with the QC.

OTR back when, slowest truck was 64.

He knew he could pass, he just lost his mojo when he saw the CHP SUV going the other way, he lost interest in breaking the speed limit all of a sudden, then compound that with the uphill drag, plus I certainly wasn't going to slow down on the uphill since I already had the power band working with me. Plus I have no obligation to slow down in that situation-- I'm going the speed limit already. I have a family to feed too. These Princess Passers believe they are special, yeah they're special alright.

Oh look at the complex... If someone is faster and traffic is backing up behind them kick off cruise and let them pass.
You a dick to me I'll run you up to a real slow car and really make you slow down.
