No of course not but another interesting thing of note-- 5 months after posting this video the snow started falling in the northern states.

Arkansas in the North and west will get snow overnight. Enough to make bridges slippery in the area of Fayetteville. Rest of it will be a dusting, a taste of what is to come later in the season.

I'm going to assume you've directed this at me. You're making an assumption that knowing how to manipulate the driver behind me into not driving head-first into oncoming traffic is a "childish game." That's an assumption. You don't exactly have the correct context to make this judgement. If I were to make a moving violation or do something that was otherwise unethical, you might have a good point. But when the idiot behind me is flashing his lights at me in anger as he tries to pass me on a winding double-solid road in the middle of the night, I'm naturally going to do what works to prevent him from successfully killing himself, or an innocent person, right in front of me and in my path, possibly involving me and endangering my life, livelihood and career. I don't care how much of a hurry they're in. I'm going home to my family. The only thing I could possibly see as being dangerous, is speeding up and hauling ### when the idiot does decide to pass you in a dangerous situation. Turning on a blinker or doing something like that, to throw off or otherwise delay someone about to pass in a dangerous situation, would hardly amount to placing me "at fault" for their actions. If that's what you're going to assert, I'd like to see some legal precedents and some citations of actual law to prove your point. Otherwise you're just blowing smoke and being self-righteous.
Sincerely,
The Traffic God. -
i understand your logic. however, i disagree that it's our place to correct others' poor/dangerous driving habits through "fooling" them with turn signals or anything of the like. you're implying i'm self righteous? people in glass houses shouldn't throw stones.

Sniffing someone's rear for miles is not something I want to do.especially when the driver doesn't stay the same speed and I end up following to close.so yes I step out and the professional drivers back out if they see I'm a problem.just like I would do if I'm in the granny lane.so tired of cry babies

I spend a fair bit of time on 2 lane roads. One thing I see fairly often is truly baffling. I'll have someone behind me who's keeping far back for miles but as soon as someone else starts to close on them they now think they need to close the gap and follow me closely. See the same when I'm catching up to others and the guy in the middle suddenly doesn't care about having space ahead of him.

That tanker was watching this all take place too. I'd say that driver could have backed off to just let the idiot driving the Camaro get by.Lepton1 Thanks this.

Traffic and things happen because of slow/scared people or w/e.. drive faster.. less traffic... Learn how to merge/pass don't hug the lane...
I beg to differ. Traffic jams happen because speeders get botched up behind the courteous, smart people who actually obey the laws by following the speed limit. Think about it for a while....it's just common sense. This is why timed on ramps don't work in metropolitan areas during rush hour. Drivers sit waiting to get on the freeway then immediately speed up to make up time. If everyone obeyed speed limits and remembered that driving is a privelage not a right, traffic would be much smoother.scottied67 and Lepton1 Thank this.
