I learned a long time ago that being "legal" doesn't always make it "right".
It also doesn't always make it safe.
It's a "me me me" world today and that's sad. The attitude of some on here is pathetic.
If I see that I am going to possibly slow faster traffic down when I need to pass someone, I wait till traffic clears. I can then take my time, if I need to, to pass that vehicle.
    It's no big deal.
Someday maybe Scott will realize that.

I think what they will do and should do is govern every truck in America to 60 miles per hour. As @KB3MMX said they already have the tech to know the road speed limit. Wouldn't be too hard to program the ECM to auto limit the truck to the exact speed limit of the road or 60 miles per hour whichever is less.

I agree it is a me me me princess entitled world with these pathetic drivers who want to pass at only 1 mile per hour faster. Just got passed earlier today and you know what? The fool got off at the next rest area 12 miles up the road, are you kidding me?

I can't fathom why anyone even argues with Scotty anymore. It's pretty obviously he's so far up his own self righteous, insufferable, keester that you're just wasting your time. Or maybe that's the point. This is a message board after all.

Let me sum it up. Scotty is lawful perfection and the rest of us are selfish, entitled princesses.

So let me see, you didn't back out of your cruise control because you were driving the legal speed limit. It took him five miles to pass and buttloads of vehicles were held up, he finally completed the pass after five miles...

    ...And pulled away.

Then he took an exit to the rest area well ahead of you.

That would be because they are used to being controlled like lemmings in Europe.

Anyone who wants to live like that needs to move there. The rest of us can learn to make do without unnecessary hand holding like we're 8 year olds.

Didn't watch the video. Only read the first three pages. Couldn't bear to read all nine. I hate those aholes that speed up too but if you drive in Ontario where trucks are limited by law at 65 you will soon learn not to slow down. With the volume of truck traffic that we have on our one road, slowing even 1 mph means 5 trucks behind you just jumped into the "hammer" lane but there's no room for them to pull back in front of you. It's a fun cluster

Watched the video. Just a thought. What if the Camaro was trying to get to the hospital?
