That fact still don't absolve the pickup truck. Fact is everyone lost time. Big truck too. See how that worked?

Right 2 dicks don't make a right. Might have even been 3, I can't imagine that the truck driver was able to ignore the show going on to his left.

Anytime I see the big R happening, I get away, as soon as is prudent.

Comes under the heading "nothing good can come of this". Why that big truck didn't remove himself from that situation I don't know but next time he will. Everyone gets what they deserve in life.

Amen. Space management is EVERYTHING. It does NOT matter if you are going a legal speed or not, your space relative to traffic in close proximity trumps ALL of that.

I had a situation similar to the video you reference, but in this case two "roller skates" (cars) came racing up on me, competing to see who could get in front to pass me. As soon as the car in the hammer lane pinned the attempted passer from getting in front, they proceeded to CRAWL on by me and got just far enough ahead to tempt the now tailgating car behind them to try to do the suicide squeeze pass right in front of my bumper, when the lead car brake checked hard.

They got back halfway on my trailer and the lead car proceeded to start creeping up to do it all again. This time I was prepared.

As soon as the lead car started to nose past my bumper I downshifted, engaged Jakes on high, and hit the brakes, slowing from 70 mph to 60 mph in the blink of an eye (with absolutely no traffic behind for miles).

The car behind immediately rocketed into my lane and off they went, side by side, in search of the next obstacle to recovering from idiocy.

My truck has on guard which as an owner op you are not aware of how annoying it is. If there is a slower vehicle in front of me on guard system will auto brake before reaching an uphill and make the truck jerk and shake until I am in the clear.
