There is a difference between a DAC report and the MVR. The DAC can be fought, the MVR can't and while it may sound wrong, the only time it appears on a DAC report is when it is reported by the company.

Ya, exactly, but the point is that "not at fault" accidents have little impact either way. If all three were DOT reportable... it would be 6 points, while a tire is 8 points.
I have talked to Prime, US Xpress, Crete/shaffer, Conway, an oilfield company... and they didnt care. They were excited to talk to me...

So, if my 3 "not at fault" accidents dont matter... that says a lot. Its not 2005 any more, companies seem to understand more, and are more willing to work with drivers.

The facts are, before CSA 2010, they could hire ANYBODY... so why hire a new driver when they could hire an old driver with at fault accidents? Back in the day, if someone had tickets, that was a badge of honor... it meant the guy was willing to break the law for the company. Now that companies can be #### down, they dont want super trucker/law breaker/ convict/ drug taker. They want whoever is gonna keep their butt in business.

Out of all the companies I talked to, they were most interested in tickets. They didnt want people who had tickets.. because tickets could shut them down. Not at fault accidents have such low points, they dont matter.

That said, I was told that it takes 70-80 points to be fired! Some drivers manage well over 100 points in a year!!!!

The reason, is because they literally run without turning in problems, and run and run and run... and they eventually get caught. My account, I talked to anybody I could about fixing trailers, and if I got a bad one you can bet I reported it when I dropped it... Eventually, I had other drivers yelling at me! Can you imagine that! I wanted perfect trailers, and eventually we got so good that the guys I used to yell at, they started catching things I missed!

And you know what? Go ahead and yell at me, just keep doing your job guys! Haha... it went from 18 trailers in a row, yes... 18 bad trailers... to going a month at a time without catching a violation. Thats called teamwork!

Nice, I always wondered what they were. Where did you end up finding it?

I got hit by a carload of teenagers a few years back. The police found them at fault and issued them a ticket to them for improper lane change. I got no ticket and continued on my route, minimal damage to the truck.

It is on my driving record as "crash". That's all it says, no fault specified, no other info, just the date and "crash". Sucks.

You were treated unfairly. This can be fixed, for a price.
