Apply and see what happens. Saia hires felons. So does Old Dominion.
Just be honest, contrite and accountable.
Does anybody know if estes express will hire a felon?

OD didn't hire felons when I hired on. The background check was nearly at thorough as getting a TS clearance. Just didn't have associate interviews by the g-men.
No criminal record but I requested a copy of the check. Was around 40 pages long. Granted 15 or so pages were clue report ####. Another 5 was full credit history, but still. They found literally everything on me you could find. -
Had a quick look over their web page it is a maze no direct link for careers though; I found it by clicking on "Contact" then choosing How can we help, then Careers, it lists a webpage called "work4estes.com"

Try to hire on with the dock. Some top companies don’t have as much of a background with dock workers. Once you’re in then you can move up to a CDL job in that company. They’ll have trust in you after you worked on the dock. Dock at LTL pays better than most starter CdL jobs. Running a forklift isn’t a hard job. Sucks but it is what it is.

Depends if the company runs deck bars in the trailers. If they do, dock work absolutely sucks ###.Radman Thanks this.

I know a couple at OD in Denver that got hired. Just depends what it was, how long ago, and other factors.
