CRST?!?!? You guys are kidding right. Pull out the KY and grab your ankles now, it will be easier, CRST doesn't use KY.
If you want to be independent, be independent. Choose a company that doesn't have a no-brain dispatcher deciding how much you make. You must choose your lanes and loads.
does anybody know of a good lease purchase program out there?

no I'm not going to be going with anybody like CRST a gentleman on here told me about the dealers out there that you can get trucks from and lease on to the company's with no money down that way the company doesn't have full control over you if they're not giving you the run that you need then you can take the truck and we sit on somewhere elseDryver Thanks this.

The best lease purchase program??? The one you avoid. Get some experience, and then check for a good deal on a used truck that is in good shape and has a good service history. There's a lot of them out there that you can get for a good price, and you won't be paying the quadruple digit lease charge that companies like prime, Trans am, and CR England use to rape their training school graduates who get suckered into those programs.
bigblue2016 and DrayDay Thank this. -
Think about this for a second driver. You lease purchase a truck no money down let's say 1200 a week notes. You work 3 weeks make let's say 2300.00 a week make your payments just fine. Ok now you decide to go home and spend time with your family. You take a week off. Guess what. That $1200.00 note payment is still due regardless... So the little money you saved you have to make a payment. You get back out on the road and guess what. Your a week in the hole. You run hard and at the end of the week your payment is due. But you don't get paid til next week. And your insurance will be due and let's not forget about the money you need to put into your escrow account or fuel surcharge. I'm just saying think about it hard.....
bigblue2016 Thanks this. -
its not my first rodeo I've been down that road before

Well if you've been down that road before why in Pete's sake would you want to go down it again??? I'm just saying save up and buy your own truck to put on with a company... Of course just my 2 cents. Good luck to you!bigblue2016 and Lonesome Thank this. -
well I have no credit and I don't have an extra 10 grand sitting around do you since I don't this is the only way that I can get back into that area of trucking so I'm not being forced to go where I don't want to go but thank you

I've heard from him yes and he suggested a couple of different companies but I wasn't thrilled about the companies he suggested doesn't mean he's wrong or anything just means I didn't like the companies he suggested that's all

What makes you think you're the special one that can beat the system?
