Does anyone have information on Carter Express Inc.?

I think the new runs are proabaly through Transfreight. I bet Carter wanted John to take a pay cut on those Toyota runs. I bet John stuck with Transfreight. And they beat what Carter was offering just out of johns past dealings with them. That's just my guess... Lol.

 

Not sure all of it but do know that John cannot compete with the growing market especially where the CSA scores are starting to have an effect.Meaning if you have a good record,your license is worth much more. I know bd has a bunch of drivers with wrecks,tickets and the like and the drivers that have good scores are propping them up. Carter rejected a few drivers from bd because of this and offered better than starting packages for the good drivers.

I could sit here and tell you all the bad things and the good things about the company..but it is better that each individual decide for themselves if the company fits their needs. The company doesn't fit my husbands or my needs anymore...so he is moving on to another company. If you have questions about the company then PM me, and I will answer them. I don't know much about BD, but the question you have to ask is that maybe they didn't want to take the cut in linehaul because they would have to pass that on to the driver. If they want to survive in this business then they need a true salesman to go out and get the contracts they need to stay alive in this business because hauling parts is not the only freight lines out there.

 

All of at BD know where who you are and I am getting a bit tired of you bashing my company. My CSA scores? I invite anybody that wants, to check out our CSA scores. USDOT 853131. MC 375816. Unsafe Driving 32.5%, Fatigued Driving (out of hours) 19.6%, Vechile Maintenance 29.0%. I will put my scores up against anybody, and the financial condidion of my compnay against anybody. You talk like you actually know something about how we operate, and you just know nothing about which you speak, and I do mean nothing. You have based your opinion on ONE route. Of the 200 loads we do per day, you could do only ONE of them. Because I do not have that weekend TX route anymore you are posting that we are a bad company. Be careful that you may have to back up what you say. You are not hidden nearly as well as you think you are. The bottom line is that Carter bashed the rates, and got the freight. At some point the freight is too cheap to chase.

Rollingweird, we have good drivers, good accounts and a good future. Just becasue we do not a the exact run that you want, why do want to drive us into the ground? I treated you well and paid you well for nearly 2 years.

I have to to add that as someone else stated,you do have your spies all over. I wonder why that is?

 

I team drive for Carter Express Im a board runner. The only way to make any money at Carter is dedicated. The solo and team board runners dont get alot of miles. I have been running Anderson to our Laredo Texas terminal spend most weekends in hotel waiting for a back haul. Starting pay for solos is .31 teams make .19

 

WOW! .31 a mile... I've heard carter was a pretty good company... thats really low.. I did a couple of fill in needs for carter for a temp service and I hated the 65mph BS and the automatic trucks. I'd rather shovel ####

 

They pay more but the trick is to get on a route or better yet team. The money is good with Carter and to give you an example I just received my first quarterly safety and fuel bonus. Fuel was over $600.00 and my safety was over $750.00.
