I am with you 100 percent. That company in.hus pic isnt one of the well known ones, but it makes no sense for a company to throw someone in the OTR lifestyle, when running local is all they did. The question is, how long did he go out with a trainer?

I was kidding him, I have no doubt he did what he said he did, I never rode with a trainer in my life, and started on farms driving before I could even get a license at all, so pretty similar experience.

The truck they had had the interior changed up in the sleeper and wrap around seating, I want to say they had 6 students in it at a time., every ow and then they would even go on an over nighter up to Co for some reason.

You might look at companies that do LTL work. Start out in the warehouse loading and unloading trucks. Learn to back a combination vehicle in the yard, and go from there. I thing SAIA (SP?) has that sort of progression if you want it.
